Dogged determination is this blind student’s success mantra

Two years ago, he lost his father to a heart attack, but that didn’t stop a visually impaired Navi Mumbai youth from completing his education. Rajkumar Hunasnale, now 22 years old, travelled daily to Worli to prepare for his SSC examinations, in which he scored 79.2%.

Rajkumar is the second youngest of his parents’ five children. After their father passed away, the youngest sibling, 20-year-old Yogesh began taking care of everyone at home. A civil engineering student, Yogesh is also working at a private firm.
