Assistive tech to the aid of disabled

GUWAHATI: Mobility India, a national voluntary organisation working towards the welfare of people with physical and mental disabilities, recently conducted an assessment programme on assistive technology under a single-window service provision model for the first time in the state.
 Mobility India, in association with Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Artificial Limns Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) and local voluntary organisations, conducted the assessment programme and made the outline for providing assisting devices such as wheelchairs and hearing aid for over 95 people in Dimoria block of Kamrup (Metro) district.
