A paraplegic disabled rights campaigner who has represented India in wheelchair tennis was ‘attacked’ in a theatre for remaining seated during the national anthem.
Salil Chaturvedi, who is also thought to be the only disabled person to have sailed from Mumbai to Goa, is said to have been verbally abused by a couple and hit from behind during the incident at the venue in Panaji, Goa.
