NEW DELHI: Till October, Manisha, seventh-grader at the Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya (SKV) in Sector I, Pushp Vihar, “couldn’t read and didn’t even try”. She sat in class but tuned out of lessons –more white noise than information to her.
Mentor teacher Vandana Gautam adds that during the course of the programme, they detected a learning disability in at least one student. The team worked mainly by using and improving upon methods and processes sent out centrally.
