Beach fest for differently abled from March 31

Panaji: The States of Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and the NCR region are among front runners in providing accessible travel to persons with disabilities, says UMOJA.
Yeshwant Holkar, chief executive officer, UMOJA, an online travel platform that offers holiday experience to wheelchair-users and differently-abled travellers, told The Hindu on the sidelines of an event recently that Rajasthan being a tourism hub, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has taken steps to ensure easy accessibility to the differently-abled visitors. The event was organised to announce UMOJA’s first online travel platform -#BeachFest2017- to be held at Candolim beach from March 31 to April 9.
