Government set to make Delhi more accessible for differently-abled persons

Soon, Delhi will be a disabled friendly city. With the vision of Accessible India Campaign, the Union ministry of social justice and empowerment is on the process of making Delhi an ‘accessible city’ for Persons with Disability (PwD)’.
It includes person with visual impairment, physically handicapped and deaf people. For this, all government and private offices, cinema halls, theatre, parks, hospitals, police stations, tourist places, monuments, banks, post offices, metro stations, ATMs, commercial place, courts, etc., will have spaces for disabled people.The Centre has written to the Delhi government to come up with a plan to transform the Capital into a model city for others to replicate.
