Till a few years ago, buying a myoelectric hand in India meant shelling out a few lakh rupees for a foreign brand.A myo hand uses electric signals generated by the user’s muscles to move.
Today, you can buy a locally made one for about Rs40,000-45,000, which will allow a person with a disability to write, hold objects, turn a tap, etc..
