India to field team for Physical Disability World Cricket Series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given permission to the All-India Cricket Association for the Physically Challenged (AICAPC) to field an official Indian team for the Physical Disability World Cricket Series in Worcestershire from August 3 to 13.
“We are not funding it right now. We have only given recognition to the All India Physically Challenged Organisation (Association) so that they can represent (the country) in the World Series Championship,” BCCI’s General Manager, Cricket Operations, Syed Saba Karim, said during the ‘Ajit Wadekar Memorial Day’, a function orgainsed to commemorate the former Indian skipper’s 78th birthday.
